D’ORO COLLECTION BEGINS THE SUMMER SEASON WITH A SPECIAL EVENT DEDICATED TO ITALY.
An all-Italian event was held in the park of the Villa that houses the Publishing House’s historic headquarters on Via Appia Antica. A special event dedicated to Italy, in the very heart of Rome.
Books, history and culture were the focus of a special night under the starry skies of Rome.
“Unfortunately, last year we could not celebrate our 20th anniversary. – says Salvatore Giorgio Dino, CEO of the Publishing House – But today we are stronger than ever and we want to communicate this to the world, starting from Italy and with Italy.
At nightfall, the Villa’s park lit up to welcome guests in an evocative setting of books presented as if they were statues.
Books at the centre of everything: as works of art, as pieces of jewellery… in an alternation of intimacy and culture.
“For us, this is a year teeming with novelties and presentations and we wanted to start here, where everything comes to life,” continues Salvatore Giorgio, “and exhibit some of the titles in our Collection. They are books that our Collectors know very well, books that represent us and that I care about in a special way. Roma is the first on the list, an icon for our Publishing House. It is a book that I hold in my heart and that tells the story of my city from an artistic, historical and architectural point of view. Then there is DNA Lamborghini, the jewel in the crown of our collaboration with companies that symbolize Italian Excellence.”
D’ORO Collection thus organized an all-Italian night to meet up with its Collectors after a long time. An event that undoubtedly raises expectations about the new projects of the Publishing House, which is increasingly focused on creating unique and original works.
There will be no preview of new publications, but as the number of requests for books made to order for libraries and private collections grows, the close link with the world of art becomes increasingly clear.
The event was therefore specially created to celebrate the historical icons published by D’ORO Collection, a company that sets no limits on imagination and always leaves its guests with a question: what will the next book be about?
