D’ORO Collection, the Italian Luxury Publishing House, targets Asia as its market for the near future. Less than a week after the DNA Lamborghini Book was displayed in Tokyo -in the Lamborghini Lounge officially opened last October 29th – D’ORO Collection is now landing in Shanghai.

“We had planned this operation for a long time”, says Salvatore Giorgio Dino, CEO of the Publishing House, “but we had to postpone it because of the pandemic which delayed our plans.”

“After the success of the book in the Lamborghini Lounge, we are proud of announcing another important appointment: our first time in China”, continues Salvatore.

Contrary to Japan, where D’ORO Collection reconfirms its well-established presence, China is a completely new adventure.

Salvatore took a big bet on this adventure, for which he selected two exceptional partners: ICE, the Italian Trade Agency and Federorafi, the Italian National Federation of Gold Jewellery – Silverware – Jewellery Manufacturers.

The event welcoming D’ORO Collection to China is CIIE 2020, which will be held in Shanghai from 5th to 10th of November.

The displayed books

CIIE 2020, China International Import Expo, is an exceptional show-case to approach the Chinese market. “The fact that we use gold for our iconic covers”, explains Salvatore, “has suggested that we display our books in the jewellery area. We will exhibit three of our titles: The Golden Horses, The Golden Horse – Jewel Edition and DNA Lamborghini”.

Futhermore, a Bespoke service will be operating at the fair to explain what a made-to-order publication is, how many copies are printed, the possible options and styles. Pre-ordering will be possible for all books.

“We are fully organized to create books in the Chinese language”, adds Salvatore. “This is one of our distinctive features: we cooperate with internationally renowned writers to provide a Bespoke service which fully reflects the Client’s spirit”.

It is an international Bespoke service which relies on the Made in Italy concept and uses it as its strength. All D’ORO Collection books are made in Rome, Italy, with the consistent commitment towards preserving the book-binding traditions and techniques.

On this occasion, D’ORO Collection announces that it has opened an account on Wechat, the social network mostly used in China, with its own dedicated page in the profile “The Extraordinary Italian Jewelry”, dedicated to the Italian high jewellery on show in Shanghai.
