On Tuesday March 5, 2019 – opening day of the 89th Geneva International Motor Show – D’ORO Collection and Automobili Lamborghini will present DNA Lamborghini, a unique volume containing the history of this brand of passion, narrated in the form of a novel.
The book, which is as precious as its contents, is curated by Antonio Ghini and narrates how the DNA of Lamborghini has formed: it provides information on the people, the models and the episodes that have
enriched the brand until the present time because it is history that guarantees its future.
It is indeed the only publication which, for the first time, shows all Lamborghini cars developed since 1963, with a review of the main models brought to the manufacturing stage but never marketed.
Technology, design and farsightedness are all encompassed in this book, which symbolizes the Italian publishing tradition and uses the most ancient techniques in the art of bookmaking, thus becoming an emblem of culture and made in Italy style.
The book exclusive covers are made of Forged Composite, with the same technology used in car manufacturing. They are made even more precious by the Lamborghini shield which is hand-made in bronze using the lost wax casting technique and subsequently gold-plated. It is bound in Leonis Orange Leather and silk with fire gildings.
The photographs are printed on hand-stitched cotton paper using a special silk-printing technique. These are only some of the details which – alongside the original sketches signed by Mitja Borkert – make DNA Lamborghini a real jewel book.
DNA Lamborghini is therefore an object to collect, to treasure and hand down. It is exclusively printed in a numbered edition by D’ORO Collection in Rome.
